We have lots of happenings that have kept us hoppin around here. Here is a quick picture update.

Kira in her FIRST ever parade!!! Walking down Main Street with the Daiseys from her troop for a Memorial Day parade. It was H-O-T and sunny, but Kira did great!

We posted flags at the cemetary to memorialize all the veterans who have fought for our country. We are greatful to have our freedoms and happy to remind our children that we have this special day off because of many great men and women who have fought for our freedoms.

Happy Memorial Day! After the Balloons, Flags, and Parade we had a huge BBQ! We love to party! Food, Fun and great Friends and GREAT weather!

Marina waves "Hi" - just kidding, she just waves those arms wild! Here we are at the Memorial Day Balloon launch we love so much.

Memorial Day Balloon launch - Kira and Ethan both had sleepovers with friends this weekend!

Marina is fully loving baby mush - I am making most of her food now; easy, quick and good for her :) Yum Yum Yum!

I was loading my car to bring some stuff to a friend. Natalie asked me if she could have the lipgloss that ust came with a new Hello Kitty book we bought. I thought, "Sure, lipgloss, totally harmless - right?" Well, I loaded and chatted with a friend and was NOT paying attention to my little 2 year old and this is what I got. What you cannot see is that the lipgloss is GLITTER and she was covered. It was even in her eyes - I always love lipgloss on my eyes. I just had to laugh and say, "Natalie, you are so pretty I need to take your picture!" I guess she taught me, huh?

Kira had a field trip to the Zoo. We had a great time walking with friends. Most of the day was cloudy but warmed up and got sunny just long enough for it to be a great day!

Ethan had an "Insect Extravaganza" at school. He particpated in a play, power point presentation, did a written report and made a diorama. You can ask this kid anything about Bees and he knows it! Below is a video of his power point presentation. It was a group project, they learned how to use the Smart Board and powerpoint. He presents for a little girl who was absent and his own information. We are very impressed with this second grader that we love so much!

An All American Family - I must say! Your pix are super - did the local newspaper want a copy??
Ethan - you are amazing! We loved your presentation of the honeybee. Kira - we loved seeing you in the parade. And that Natalie - sooo cute with the shimmer gloss face! Kisses to Marina. Hugs to everyone. Love, Nana and PopPop
Love your Mem Day pictures. We put flags out one year as a service project when I was RS president. Great way to teach your kids! I am very impressed with Ethan--I've never done a power point presentation.
So fun! Wish we could have come this weekend! But we'll see you SOON!
